Shoot 6- Creepy Work Record

Date- Saturday 12th March 2016
Aim-
My aim for today's shoot is to explore creating the atmosphere of creepiness but in outside locations. I came across a run down part near my house, it has garages with graffiti on and it looked quite eerie, it would have been creepier is it was at night but I still think this would be good for my shoot. I would also like to explore ways in between trees.

This is a photo I really like from this shoot:
I really like this one because I positioned my subject really well and believe the run down garage behind her ties in with forming the atmosphere. When taking this image, I aimed to include as much of the graffiti as possible because in unit 1 I  found that when I took images with graffiti, if half of it is cut off, it can ruin a photo as it can form the graffiti into something else, which is clearly something I didn't want to happen.  There rows of different garages here although I chose this one because the graffiti looks a bit like a skull which I like because creepiness is always joined with skulls.

This is an image I don't really like from this shoot:
I really like the focus in this image because it is all on the tree and my subject behind is blurred out. This would have worked really well in forming that creepy atmosphere because I think it would show someone creeping into the background forming questions of who is this person and why are they there. However, during my shot, I didn't actually look at all of my photos after taking them therefore my outcome was this. As my subject shut her eyes it taking away the creepy feel. If there was a strong glare into the lens, it would form a better creepier atmosphere.

Progression:
As seeing from my picture that I don't like, I need to remember to look at all of my photos as I take them because then I would be able to re shoot them. Also I hope to further my shoots and explore the creepiness atmosphere by taking more images in a forest.
