This is an out of focus image which shows isolation. This photographer captured a subject covering her face as if to be blocking her self from the outside. You can also she how she is tensing her hand as she is in pain, it is most likely mental pain and she is fed up of being alone with no one else to stand with, yet it could also be the physical pain she has to put up with everyday.
This is my photo which I captured for shoot 2 (isolation) I placed my subject on the floor and was leaning her elbow on her leg. I thought this would have been better than her standing and just putting her hand on her face because the leading line of her arm would be there as it would be likely her arm would freely lean the wrong way. My subject also moved her hair over her face to cover it because it stops anything seeping through, she was unable to see anything, showing she feel incapable to see anything, this may be as she doesn't want to suffer the pain.
Both these images show isolation because it is a close up of a subject covering her face. The background of both these images are block colours- they are constant colours around them. This is important when showing isolation because it suggesting there boxed off from the outer world, we as the viewers can't see anything around them suggesting they are totally isolated.
