Shoot 10- Creepy Work Record

Date- Monday 4th April 2016.

Aim-
After my shoot 7 came out quite well, I want to use the innocence of the room around my subject to show a contrast between my subject- who will hopefully be covered in makeup and the background.

These are three examples of my work which I think worked really well. The first image; I wanted to show this image unedited in comparison with the other two. I like the first one, I used the metal frame of my friends bed to form this almost barrier effect. I used artificial light here and turned off the house lights, the reason for this was to form that shadow across the back wall because I believe this adds to the creepy feel.I like the second one because it very forms the creepy atmosphere which I were going for- her face isn't clear. It also looks as if its character of a horror film which is going to jump out at you. The third image here is one of my favourite from this shoot because I like the innocence from the prop of the teddy, but then when you move your gaze to her face, you are joined with this creepy face.

These are examples of my work that I don't like. The reason for me not liking the first one is because I don't think it's creepy, I think it's more of a trapped atmosphere- as it's not my giving atmosphere which I wanted to achieve, I don't like it. Additionally, the lighting of this image doesn't go alongside my other photos- it's odd, therefore I do not like it. I don't like the second one ether because my subject looks like she is going to fall.

What am I doing next?
As I have finished all my ten shoots my next step is the exam. I hope to use my creepy shoots and the depression ones.
